Three people were killed and at least 13 people were injured following a building collapse in Center City Philadelphia Wednesday morning. At least three people, including two women, were taken to Hahnemann University Hospital. Two patients were treated and released. The third patient is listed in fair condition. Missing since April, Collingdale mom Melissa Ortiz-Rodriguez is the focus of an intensifying search. She wanted a divorce from her estranged husband, Jose Rodriguez and was planning a trip to Newark to visit friends on April 19th by bus. She never arrived, never reported for work at her new job and failed to pick up her children from school four days later. Police will be canvasing the neighborhood for clues.

Dark smoke from a trash fire billowed over Southwest Philadelphia late Tuesday afternoon. The fire broke out at about 4 p.m. at the junk yard along Gray's Ferry Avenue and South Hanson Street. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.

Philadelphia Police are looking for a serial rapist they believe attacked four women in the Germantown area. The victims include a 15 year old and 17 year old girl. Funeral services for U.S. Sen. Frank Lautenberg will be held Wednesday at a New York City synagogue. The 89-year-old Lautenberg, a multimillionaire businessman and the last World War II veteran remaining in the Senate, died early Monday at a New York hospital after suffering complications from viral pneumonia. The funeral is planned for 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Park Avenue Synagogue in Manhattan.

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia announced plans to merge 27 more parishes over the weekend. The announcement has many in affected Philadelphia and Delaware County parishes hoping there is a chance to save them. Authorities say a man was arrested after shooting into a crowd along South Street and then firing shots at police themselves, Sunday along the 600 block of South Street. Police say 42-year-old Isaac Carmichael threatened three victims during an argument in which the suspect had tried to make a pass at one of the females.
