Officials at Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey have now come up with a plan to help fix the campus' problem with lead-tainted water in many of the dormitories. The University had the water tested on campus and lead-tainted water was found in nine older residence halls. University officials will be installing filters into the affected sinks in the buildings during the school's spring break next week as temporary fix until the main source of the lead-tainted water is found. A fire at a PECO substation in North Philadelphia is causing power outages for thousands and traffic gridlock in the area. It started around 2 p.m. on the 2600 block of West Westmoreland Street. Over 32,000 customers have lost power and many traffic lights are out causing problems on the streets. Heavy smoke could be seen rising from the station. Philadelphia Police are searching for a missing 5-year-old boy from Kensington and his 60-year-old step-grandfather. Naair Thomas was reported missing on Monday night after he failed to come home with his grandfather Stewart Gertman. Thomas lives with Gertman. A Delaware County teacher is now facing several charges after a video was captured of the teacher pushing a 4-year-old girl down stairs. The incident happened at around 5:15 pm on Friday at Childcare of the Future, located on the 700 block of Secane Avenue in Clifton Heights. 52-year-old Sarah Gable was caught on video pushing the little girl down the flight of stairs at the daycare. A four-alarm fire broke out at the Aquahab Physical Therapy Center adjacent to the AFC Fitness Center in Northeast Philadelphia this morning. It started at 11 a.m. on the 3600 block of Grant Avenue at Fordham Road. Work was being done on the roof at the time. Workers were using a blow torch for welding and caused the fire. Around 400 nurses and other medical staff are now on strike at the Delaware County Memorial Hospital in Drexel Hill. Dozens of the nurses and staff protested outside of the hospital on Sunday. For months now the union has been in contract negotiations with the hospital to hopefully increase staff levels to no avail. An arrest was made in some of the recent threats to Jewish centers nationwide. 31-year-old Juan Thompson was arrested in St. Louis and will appear in federal court on Friday afternoon. He is charged with cyberstalking. He is behind at least 8 of the threats to Jewish Community Centers, plus a bomb threat to the New York Anti-Defamation League.
