A former Philadelphia police officer has been indicted by a grand jury in the death of an unarmed Black man in 2017. 33-year-old Eric Ruch Jr. is charged with Murder of the First Degree, Murder of the Third Degree, Voluntary Manslaughter, and Possession of an Instrument of Crime in the death of 25-year-old Dennis Plowden. Authorities have released new details about the remains of a young child found in a Delaware park last year. The child has been identified as 3-year-old Emma Cole. She was discovered on September 13, 2019 at Little Lass Fields in Smyrna, DE. A person walking their dog came across the uncovered, unburied remains in an open area near softball field. Pennsylvania Republican Senator Pat Toomey has reportedly decided not to run for another term in the U.S. Senate or to run for Governor in 2022. The 58-year-old is expected to serve out the remaining two years on his term in Washington, D.C. He was seen as the likely GOP candidate for governor. Toomey has advocated for term limits.
