The Democratic National Convention is looking for 10,000 volunteers for The convention in Philly this summer from July 25th to the 28th. They are looking for both men and women above the age of 14 to volunteer. Events will take place at The Wells Fargo Center, but volunteers will also be needed at the Pennsylvania Convention Center and around the city.

Two police officers have been hospitalized after a suspected DUI crash in Philly Sunday Morning. It happened Sunday Morning at 4:30 A.M. On the 100 block of South 52nd Street. The police say the driver rear ended their parked car. The Two officers were sent Penn Presbyterian Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver now faces DUI charges.

Bill Cosby's sexual assault case was postponed yesterday just days before an important hearing in his case. The Pennsylvania Superior Court gave Cosby the Ok yesterday to postpone the trial. The Court will still decide whether or not to hear Cosby's pretrial appeal to have his case thrown out about the drugging and molesting of a Temple University employee in his Philly home in 2004. His preliminary hearing is set for next week.

Kutztown Stabbing Suspect Identified, Miss Philadelphia Crowned, Man wanted for Stabbing in Philly

A man has been charged with the stabbing of a Kutztown Univeristy Student which happened on February 20th. 18-year-old Robert Centafanti has been charged with attempted first degree murder, aggravated assault, as well as many other charges. The stabbing victim is still currently in Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar-Crest in serious condition.

NJ Hospital Warns of Disease Exposure, Man charged with Human Trafficking, Shooting in Kansas

A New Jersey Hospital is now warning patients that they may have been exposed to harmful and infectious diseases. The Shore Medical Center in NJ has stated that 213 patients may have been exposed to Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and HIV if they received an intravenous morphine, or hydrmorphone medications. The diseases were exposed after an employee of the hospital Fredrick McLeish was charged with stealing morphine out of the patients vials and replacing them with Saline. Authorities say the risk... Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf announced yesterday that he has been diagnosed with a mild form of prostate cancer. The cancer was found a couple of months ago at a routine checkup, and was confirmed about two weeks ago after further testing was done. Wolf said he will be treated in the next coming weeks, although he has not specified what treatment he will get, he said it will not involve chemo-therapy.

The second suspect in the deadly North East Philly drag race car crash in July has surrendered to police. 20-year-old Ryan Farrell turned himself into police yesterday after he was wanted for many charges including homicide by vehicle, aggravated assault by vehicle, and involuntary manslaughter. Farrell is being held on $2 million bail.

A Chester County man is now facing third degree murder and aggravated assault charges. Prosecutors say that the man let his father suffer and die in his bed in the man's house rather than getting him life saving medication, getting the attention of doctors, or putting him in a nursing home. The man say's he made a promise to his father that he would never put him in a nursing home, although prosecutors say his father never wanted to live in his son's home.

A woman was killed yesterday in a house fire in Boothwyn Delaware County. The fire broke at around 5 pm, on the 2000 block of Blueball Avenue. The woman was said to be trapped in the second floor of the home when firefighters arrived. There is still no news on what started the fire.

Police have arrested and charged the shooter from last nights ambush and killing in West Philadelphia. 23-year-old Richard McMillan has been charged with murder, police say he shot and killed 31-year-old Maurice Adside at point blank range as he was getting out of his car. It is still unclear if McMillan and the victim knew each other.
