According to a jury of his peers, reputed mob boss Joseph Ligambi was found not guilty on five charges and undecided on four counts including racketeering conspiracy. Three of six other defendants were convicted including Joseph "Mousie" Massimino, Damion "Dame" Canalichio and Gary Battaglini. Joseph "Scoops" Licata was acquitted on his only charge of racketeering.

Cherry Hill Health Club Thefts, Franco Harris Defends Paterno, Menendez Denies Prostitute Ties

Police in Cherry Hill are looking for two women who allegedly broke into cars at a local health club and stole credit cards. The women were captured by a security camera using a stolen card at a local Wawa (pictured). The cars were parked in the lot of Future Fitness on Route 70. They looked for cars with purses on the seats and smashed windows to gain entry. They are said to be driving a pewter colored SUV.

Bus Crash Victims Returning, Snow Clippers Coming, Overbrook Parishes Merge

Bucks County high school students aboard the bus that crashed into an overpass during a trip to Boston have begun returning home. Thirty five people were injured in the crash including students and chaperones. Four remain hospitalized including Matthew Cruz of Neshaminy High School. The 16 year old is in critical condition.

Tacony Palmyra Bridge Fire, Snowfall Around Philadelphia, Main Line Jeweler Kidnapped and Robbed

A fire shut down the Tacony Palmyra Bridge this afternoon. Burlington County authorities report a wooden pier caught fire at the base of the bridge and all traffic was immediately stopped. The fire was brought under control but the bridge remained closed creating huge traffic tie-ups as motorists were redirected to the Betsy Ross Bridge as the alternate.

Hunterdon County investigators confirmed the woman’s body pulled from the D&R Canal in Lambertville, New Jersey is the missing bartender, Sarah Majoras. According to Prosecutor Anthony Kearns. All indications are that her death was a tragic accident. The case will remain open so factual information can be provided to the family.

Indictments are being handed down today to former and current judges as well as other employees in the Philadelphia Traffic Court System. The indictments are related to ticket fixing and other inappropriate actions. Surrendering to the FBI today were three judges including former Judge Willie F. The Verdict is guilty for the priest and Catholic school teacher accused of sexually assaulting a Northeast Philadelphia boy. The jury agreed on all but one count against Reverend Charles Engelhardt and the teacher Bernard Shero. Bail was revoked for both men and they were taken into custody. Charges were brought by a young man who was 10 years old at the time of the assault 14 years ago.
