A man was arrested after calling in a bomb threat to PHL airport Thursday afternoon. According to police, 911 received a call from a male stating that he had a bomb and did not want any British Airways planes flying out of PHL. The male also mentioned luggage terminal A during the call. Multiple airport units and bomb squads did a walkthrough of the airport terminal the caller said he was in. Police say a 30-year-old man from Norway was found and apprehended.

In San Bernardino suspected shooters have been identified and a shootout between authorities and occupants of a black SUV has taken place, killing two of the suspected shooters involved in the mass killing of 14 and wounding of 17 others at the Inland Regional Center social services building. The website reported the meeting took place in Philly on Friday. Chip Kelly says he was not in Philadelphia on Friday and says he has not met with or talked to anyone from USC. Officials are investigating a shooting involving multiple people in Montgomery County that occurred overnight Monday. The incident occurred on the 100 block of Diamond Street in Hatfield around midnight. According to police, multiple bodies were found inside a home in the block. Those bodies had gunshot wounds. The bodies were taken to the medical examiner’s office pending identification and the circumstances that transpired before the shooting.

For the 96th time, crowds gathered on Thanksgiving morning in Philadelphia for the Thanksgiving Day Parade. Thousands lined JFK Boulevard and the Benjamin Franklin Parkway for the event - the nation's oldest Thanksgiving Day parade. A sea of people stretched all the way to the Art Museum steps. They were entertained by Grammy winner Dionne Warwick, students from the Creative and Performing Arts High School and of course, Santa Claus brought up the rear.

A Russian warplane was shot down by Turkey this morning. Turkish officials claim it had violated Turkish airspace and ignored repeated warnings. Russia denied that the plane crossed the Syrian border into Turkish skies. Russia claims the plane was over the Syrian territory throughout the flight. One pilot parachuted from the plane however photos have surfaced of a Russian pilot, possibly dead, surrounded by Syrian rebels.

There was another terrorist attack today in Africa. Three people were killed and 170 hostages taken. It unfolded this morning at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Bamako. Assailants took hostages in a brazen assault involving grenades and high powered assault rifles. There are reports that some of the hostages were released after they were able to recite passages from the Quran. Security forces have helped a few others escape.
