Parents of a North Penn elementary school child have been arrested for unlawfully entering a school bus and threatening children. Christina and Christopher Gring greeted the bus from North Wales elementary. Their son came off the bus in tears, saying he was being picked on. The angry parents barged onto the bus in a profanity laced tirade demanding answers from a busload of confused, frightened children. Shane Victorino played a big role in last night's deciding victory as the Boston Red Sox won game 6 from the St. Louis Cardinals to clinch the 2013 World Series. The former Philadelphia Phillie had missed a couple of games with an injury. The Flyin' Hawaiian commented after the game that he just wanted to come back and play "little kid ball". The Italian Market will start to fill up with more vendor spaces occupied thanks to a new City Council measure. About half of the stands along South 9th Street are vacant. A new measure will lift the two space maximum ownership allowing the current vendors to fill up the existing space. There are 162 vendor stands on Ninth from Federal to Christian Streets.

PA State Police are dropping round the clock security for the wife of Lt. Governor Jim Cawley at the Cawley's request. Suzanne Cawley resumed work in May as a full time real estate agent in New York. From July through September it cost the Commonwealth $81,000 in travel expenses. That’s $20,000 more than it cost to protect her husband.

Two Philadelphia police officers were injured in North Philadelphia last night in a confrontation with a suspect. A man in a vehicle was pulled with stolen goods in the car. Police are investigating a deadly crash on the Roosevelt Boulevard last night. The two vehicles involved may have been racing and both had a baby in the car. A female passenger in one of the cars was pregnant and was still in the car when it burst into flames. She is dead. A man in that car was able to get a baby out of a car seat before the fire.
