Skinny Joey Merlino arrived in Florida this week to begin his post prison life. He plans to stay away from Philadelphia and his mob ties. The Philadelphia Flower Show, a typically festive experience, was the scene of an environmental protest. Nine protesters with signs lined up in front of the PNC display chanting claims the bank is destroying the environment by bankrolling coal extraction in Appalachia. The protesters paid for their tickets to the show and the protest is legal. But is it appropriate? Some say no – wrong place, wrong time. Others say this freedom is what makes America... Charlie Sheen has been fired. A popular TV show, Two and a Half Men may or may not be over, depending on the producers' decision to replace him, continue on without the Charlie character, or just let the show end. With all the money involved it is not likely the show will go quietly. As for Charlie Sheen the man, he will likely continue to be the subject of comedy skits and late night monologues until it is tragically, no longer funny. If you've seen Sheen interviewed recently you may be... Read More

If you haven't been paying attention to the Philadelphia 76ers, and many haven't, you're missing what is becoming a remarkable turnaround.
