Governor Phil Murphy has ordered that all flags across New Jersey be lowered to half staff indefinitely in honor of those that have been lost. The City of Ventnor has closed its beaches and boardwalk until further notice. All 4x4 permits are no longer valid for the beach. Violations will be issued a summons and face fines of up to $1,000 and 6 months in jail.

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf is now urging state residents to wearing cloth masks when going out in public to help slow the spread of coronavirus. On Friday, 4/3, he noted that the federal government and the CDC are readying similar guidance. SEPTA has instituted new changes to increase safety for drivers and riders during the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic. Riders will now board buses and trolleys from the back door.
