The Friday arrest of 19-year-old Christina Regusters in the kidnapping of 5-year-old Nailla Robinson was a huge break in the case that has been tough to crack for the Special Victims Unit task force. Residents of West Philadelphia can feel relieved that the mystery abductor is now in police custody. Four Taken Into Custody in Nailla Robinson Kidnapping case |

Police have taken four people into custody this afternoon in connection with the abduction of 5-year-old Nailla Robinson last month. Authorities are also executing a search warrant on a house on the 6200 block of Walton Avenue in West Philadelphia in the Cobbs Creek neighborhood. Police questioned three women from that same exact house and took evidence for DNA testing last week.

The 55th Annual Grammy Awards held tonight in the Staples Center in Los Angeles was full of great performances and collaborations, not too many surprises, and more than quite a few awards given out to bands considered indie acts not too long ago (or still are to many of their early fans).

Lumberton Police need the public's help in finding a missing 61-year-old woman. Angelina "Angel" Cocuzza disappeared from her home at the Lumberton Independent Living campus on Route 38 near Madison Avenue on Jan. 18. Family and police believe she may have intentions to harm herself. She is 5' 5" and weighs about 115 pounds. A task force from the Special Victims Unit executed a search warrant Friday acting on an anonymous tip in the Nailla Robinson abduction case. Police raided and searched a home in the 6200 block of Walton Avenue. The home is located 2 blocks from Bryant Elementary School in West Philadelphia where the 5-year-old girl was taken from her classroom and near a trail that goes to the playground where Nailla was found early the next morning. It looks like the snow amounts will be less than forecast earlier for the Philadelphia region, as precipitation has held off and the storm is moving away slightly. Snow will begin as the temperatures fall and the evening wears on. Snow will fall heaviest 9pm - 2am. The storm will clear out of the region by Saturday morning. The first major storm of the season is coming together and bearing down on the Philadelphia region. So far this afternoon mainly rain has fallen in the area, however that will change once the sun starts to set and the temperatures drop. We will all experience a changeover to snow with the heaviest downfall happening after midnight.

A number of low pressure systems moving across the United States will come together off the Mid-Atlantic coast starting on Thursday night. The system will end up dumping over a foot of snow to our north and east, with some areas of New England and Boston seeing upwards of two feet snow.
