Philadelphia Police Sgt. Robert Wilson III was posthumously honored today at a ceremony at the White House. Wilson's grandmother Constance accepted the National Medal of Valor from President Obama. The award is the highest honor for a public safety officer. A Philadelphia man is under arrest and charged in connection to a deadly fire at a Bucks County motel fire on Sunday morning. It happened at around 2:30 a.m. at the Lincoln Motel on the 2200 block of Lincoln Highway in Bensalem. 46-year-old Kevin Small is charged with criminal homicide, arson, and other offenses. A black bear has been spotted wandering around East Fairmount Park on Friday afternoon. A fisherman first spotted the large animal while he was fishing in Wissahickon Valley Park downstream from the Valley Green Inn. Philadelphia Police are searching for a suspect who escaped police custody from a hospital. 24-year-old Khalil Robinson was arrested Wednesday evening for DUI and narcotics offenses outside 65th and Woodland Avenue in West Philadelphia. He was taken to Penn Presbyterian Hospital. When two officers arrived to relieve the prisoner detail, one officer went into the room to check to see if Robinson was handcuffed. Pennsylvania State Police have arrested a man for shooting at another driver during a road rage incident on the Blue Route last week. 50-year-old Anthony Richardson of Philadelphia was taken into custody at his Pennington Road home and brought to the State Police Wynnefield Heights barracks. A bicyclist is dead after colliding with a SEPTA bus in the city's Frankford section. It happened around 11:45 a.m. on Orthodox Street near Aramingo Avenue. The 44-year-old bicyclist was struck by the Route J bus and was killed. There were no passengers on the bus at the time and the driver was not hurt. Accident investigators are piecing together the cause of the accident and examining video from the bus.

He was taken into custody around 11:30 a.m. Monday near mile marker 76.5 of the Garden State Parkway near Double Trouble State Park in Ocean County. A 7-week-old baby girl has succumbed to her injuries a week after an already deadly car crash in East Falls. Zyana Wilson-Perez was pronounced dead Thursday evening at St. Christopher’s Hospital. A New Jersey Transit train crashed into a vehicle in Riverton, Burlington County on Thursday morning. It happened just before 10:30 a.m. near the Riverton Station along Main Street.
