Philadelphia Phillies ace RHP Cole Hamels threw a no-hitter Saturday afternoon against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. The Phillies won 5-0. Cole threw 129 pitches with 13 K's and 2 BB's. Janet Jackson has shared the video for the remix of "No Sleeep" featuring J. Cole. The original cut will be included on her upcoming unnamed album. Directed by Dave Mayers, the laidback, late night, R&B jam is set in tony pad. Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis produced the track. Philadelphia police have arrested a man for the sexual assault and murder of a recent Drexel grad in her West Philadelphia apartment last week. 56-year old James Harris faces murder, rape, robbery, burglary and other charges. Metric has released the third single from their upcoming new album Pagans in Vegas due out September 18th. "Too Bad, So Sad" is a simple synth-heavy track with a driving rhythm that pushes the momentum full forward. The accompanying video is minimalist, featuring only a wireframe boombox and lyrics for the chorus. Others have also pointed out there's a Blur-esque "Woo hoo!" that starts the hook. Take a listen:

Philadelphia police are looking for an armed suspect who robbed a Dunkin Donuts earlier this month. The man was caught on surveillance video trying to use a clear plastic bag as a disguise but failed miserably to conceal his identity. Last night while performing at the Sydney Opera House in Australia, Ryan Adams performed an acoustic cover of Foo Fighter's "Times Like These" in honor of frontman Dave Grohl. This past May, Adams suffered a broken rib but kept on touring. Similarly, Grohl has forged on after a severely broken leg suffered at a tour date in Sweden last month. Adams admired Grohl for being "able to do what he loved, even though he was totally broken." Watch video of the cover performance below:

A Philadelphia police officer was shot by a fleeing murder suspect this morning after attempting to serve an arrest warrant. The officer managed to return fire, striking and killing the suspect. It happened at 6:10 a.m. Wednesday at an apartment complex in the 800 block of Riverside Drive in Northeast Philadelphia. The video itself was filmed in California and plays like a visual round as Vile's character starts to double and triple as the song evolves.
