Probably the biggest snow removal effort short of PennDOT is happening down in South Philly at Lincoln Financial Field. 400 workers from American Winter Services and local unions descended upon the Linc to clear out all the snow in time for tomorrow night's Eagles' playoff game. Bracing the bitter cold and winds the crews headed into the stands to shovel the snow to chutes that send the snow down to field level. It is then pick up in front end loaders and out to dump trucks. Monsignor William Lynn left state prison today on bail after his conviction on child endangerment was overturned in December by a PA superior Court. Lynn spent the past 18 months at a prison in Waymart in northeastern Pennsylvania. Philadelphia Sherriff's department will take him to Philadelphia to fit him with his electronic monitoring device. Lynn will will go before Common Pleas Judge Sarmina on Monday to go over the terms of his release.

Monsignor William Lynn will be granted bail while his conviction on child endangerment goes through the appeals process. Judge Teresa Sarmina set bail at $250,000, requiring 10 percent to post. Lynn will also have to wear an electronic monitoring anklet while out on bail. Sarmina said that she wants Lynn to appear before her in person so that she can explain the full conditions of his release. Kanye West has used his share of samples over the years and is probably well acquainted with the process of obtaining mechanical licenses through the The Harry Fox Agency. That being said, it seems unusual that he did not get permission or pay for the hook he sample from a 1971 song "Bound" for his #1 hit "Bound 2".

Car Crash / Gas Leak Darby; Four Man Break-In Ambler; Autopsy inconclusive in Washington, NJ

A car crash this afternoon in Delaware County caused a gas leak and evacuation. The incident happened around 4:15 p.m on the 400 block of Darby Terrace in Darby, PA. A woman trying to parallel park hit the gas pedal instead of the brake and accelerated into a house hitting the gas meter. Dozens of homes in the area were evacuated as a precaution. PECO was called to the scene to repair the gas line and metere. People have since been allowed to return to their home.

A bail hearing has been set for Monday for former Archdiocese of Philadelphia official William Lynn after his child-endangerment conviction was overturned. Lynn will not be in attendance for this hearing as he is still incarcerated in state prison in Northeast Pennsylvania. A Pennsylvania appeals court has overturned a landmark conviction against a high ranking Archdiocese of Philadelphia church official today. Monsignor William Lynn was found guilty of felony child endangerment in June 2012 for his role in handling child sex abuse allegations brought against priests in the Archdiocese. Holiday shoppers were out at the last minute today all around the Delaware Valley. The Italian market was a popular venue as locals stocked up on antipasto, pastries, and fish for the traditional Feast of the Seven Fishes. Bakeries were also doing brisk business serving fresh pies, bread and other baked good to customers for holiday meals. A massive water main break flooded areas of Frankford this morning causing many delays, evacuations, and closures. A 48-inch water main broke shortly before 9 a.m. at the intersection of Frankford and Torresdale Avenues. Water came rushing into the area flooding out area business and streets. The water department was able to identify the location of the break and close the appropriate values by around 11:30 am. The Philadelphia School District dismissed more than 30 schools early on...
