Jay Z's Budweiser Made in America Festival will be back in Philadelphia for it's second year this Labor Day Weekend. City officials have announced details ahead of the show that will take place on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway near the Art Museum. Performance will start at 2pm both Saturday and Sunday, gates will open at noon. The main entrance will be at 22nd Street, other entrances are at 23rd and Pennsylvania Ave and MLK Drive and Eakins Oval.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration says the cetacean morbillivirus is likely what's causing hundreds of dead bottlenose dolphins to wash ashore along the East Coast. They say 333 dolphins have been stranded between New York and North Carolina since July 1. That's more than nine times the historical average for the region during July and August. Reality star Kate Gosselin has sued her ex-husband Jon Gosselin husband accusing him of stealing a hard drive and cracking into her phone and computer to obtain information for a new tell-all book. The Philadelphia Phillies lost tonight (or rather early Sunday morning) to the Arizona Diamondbacks in the longest game played in Phillies' history by time. The game went 7 hrs 6 min & had 35 hits, 19 runs, 28 walks, 32 k's, 20 pitchers and 712 pitches. A 10 inning scoreless stretch wasn't broken until the Top of the 18th when the D-Backs took the lead off RF Casper Wells. A window washer fell this afternoon while working on a building across from Rittenhouse Square. There were three workers washing windows at around 2pm. The man fell from the seventh floor to a roof outside the second floor above the lobby of the Rittenhouse Claridge apartment building at 201 S. 18th Street. He survived the fall and was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital. The Department of Licenses & Inspections will inspect the equipment and investigate the cause of the accident. ... Read More |

A missing pet boa constrictor has been found after a week on the loose. The seven-foot snake, whose name is "Snakey," went missing from the backyard of its Swarthmore home where it was left out to sun. Neighbors have been on alert but can rest easy now that it has been returned to it's owner. It was found in a yard a few blocks away home.
