Allen Iverson's #3 jersey was retired tonight in South Philly and raised to the rafters at the Wells Fargo Center in front of 20,000 cheering fans. His becomes the 8th jersey retired by the 76ers. AI was honored during a halftime ceremony and brought the crowd to it's feet with his signature hand-to-the-ear. We've certainly all had enough by now but winter still has three more weeks left yet. March is knocking on the door and it looks like a great big lion sitting on the doorstep. Saturday and Sunday should be seasonable with highs around 42, but another large winter storm will start to move into the area later Sunday. The masked suspect wanted in a bank robbery and two attempted robberies in Delaware County in January has been arrested. 29-year-old Blair Thomas, Jr. from East Lansdowne has been charged with the three crimes. On January 22nd he attempted to rob both the Yeadon and Darby Post offices. He was armed with a .45-caliber Ruger handgun and was wearing a distinctive rubber mask. Four men have been charged with bribing and attempting to shoot a witness to a 2010 shooting case. 35-year-old Charles Alexander, 42-year-old Troy Cooper, 37-year-old Aki Jones, and 21-year-old Shaheed Williams have been charged with Attempted Murder, Witness Intimidation, Aggravated Assault, and Conspiracy. The Temple University Board of Trustees voted today to reinstate the men's and women's crew team following a recommendation from the university president, Neil Theobald. He also is seeking a comittment from the City of Philadelphia to help with renovations on Temple's boathouse along Boathouse Row. Philadelphia police are investing after two people were found shot inside a home in North Philadelphia on Saturday. They responded to a report of shooting at 2624 West Somerset Street around 2:30 in the afternoon. A 40-year-old man was found shot in the head and a 30-year-old woman was found shot in the chest. Penn State's annual 46-hour dance marathon simply known as THON will be rocking the Bryce Joyner Center in State College all weekend long. Around 700 Penn State students are official "dancers" that will be on the floor without a break for the entire event. There are 1000's more who lend direct support and those who will simply stop by the stands to join in the fun. A woman was found dead inside a car near 30th Street Station this morning. Police were called to S. 30th street between Market and Chestnut for a report of an unresponsive woman. They found a 22-year-old woman inside a black Nissan. She was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no apparent signs of foul play or cause of death. Authorities are continuing to investigate.

The couple from Northeast Philadelphia who believed in faith-healing over modern medicine has been sentenced in the death of their 8-month-old son who died of treatable pneumonia. Herbert and Catherine Schaible were sentenced to 3 ½ to 7 years in prison. The couple plead no contest in the death of their son Brandon last April.
