At 9th and Passayunk, across from Pat's King of Steaks in South Philly, lives one of the Mural Arts Program's most seen and recognizable murals. People from all over the world come through this part of town to get a cheese steak or visit the Italian Market and see the mural. The 54th Annual Philadelphia Folk Festival has announced several more additions to this year's lineup scheduled for August 13-16, 2015 on the Old Pool Farm in Upper Salford Township (near Schwenksville), PA. Last week, Lyle Lovett and His Large Band were added to the schedule.

Two more politicians caught in the undercover bribery sting investigation abandoned by Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane and resurrected by Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams have pled guilty today. During a concert in Tijuana, Mexico, singer Enrique Iglesias injured his hand while attempting to handle a drone copter. (see video below) The drone is equipped with a camera and is used to capture footage during the show. On some nights, Iglesias will grab it and point the camera around to give the audience a POV shot. A man was caught flying a drone quadcopter over Citizen's Bank Park during Sunday's Phillies/Rockies game. It happened around 4:00 p.m. during the 6th inning. Phillies' security officials noticed the drone flying over the third base gate and then watched it leave the stadium and land outside. Beau Biden, son of Vice President of Joe Biden, died on Saturday at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Washington, D.C. after suffering with brain cancer. He was 46. He was first diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago when he underwent surgery to removed a small lesion, followed by chemotherapy/radiation. Police are investigating after a newborn baby was found dead inside a duffel bag in West Philadelphia. The child was discovered on Friday evening on the 5800 block of Norfolk Street and transported to the hospital and pronounced dead at 5:59 p.m. The child may have been born on Thursday. The baby's 22-year-old mother was also transported to the hospital. There is no word on her condition. An autopsy will have to be performed to determine the baby's cause of death. Philadelphia police have a person of interest in custody wanted in connection to recent sexual assaults in South Philadelphia. Police had issued an arrest warrant on a parole violation for 32-year-old Raheem Felder who previously served 12 years for attempted murder. The Philadelphia Music Alliance announced seven new inductees to the Walk of Fame along the Avenue of the Arts. They include jazz legend Billy Holiday, hip hop band The Roots, 80's glam rockers Cinderella, disco/soul group The Trammps, Broadway star Andrea McArdle, Asleep at the Wheel's Ray Benson, and DJ Harvey Holiday. There will be a formal ceremony and the plaques installed in the sidewalk on October 26th.
