| Less than a week after he was killed, Police have one of two suspects in custody and charges have been filed against Rafael Jones in the murder of off-duty Officer Moses Walker Jr. Jones confessed to Homicide detectives late Wednesday night after being apprehended on a bench warrant for missing a parole appointment, at which he was going to receive his electronic monitoring device. | Mark David Chapman has been denied parole for the 7th time after a hearing in front of a three member board on Wednesday. Chapman was sentenced in 1981 to 20 years to life in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree murder. Chapman shot and killed former Beatle John Lennon outside his New York Apartment building, the Dakota, in December 1980. | Philadelphia Police have taken a 'person of interest' into custody for the killing of Officer Moses Walker Jr. The unidentified man was arrested this afternoon around 3pm at the Bartram Village Apartments in Southwest Philadelphia after failing to report for a probation appointment. Sunday on the Old Pool Farm continued with business as usual in the tiny temporary town. Volunteers in the meal tent were serving food to the constant stream of other volunteers with smiles and dancing. Showcases and workshops were happening on the side stages throughout the early afternoon. Kids were enjoying the performers in Dulcimer Grove.
