Philadelphia Police are investigating after a man was caught on camera spray painting graffiti in the Graduate Hospital neighborhood on Monday night, 12/17. Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill posted the video of the vandal writing the word "acorn" on the outside wall off his grandmother's home. A high school student was attacked by a large group of teens on his way home from school on Monday, 12/17, in Kensington. It happened around 12:45 p.m. on the 1800 block of Lippincott Street. 15-year-old George Gonzalez was on his way home from Mastbaum High School after an early dismissal when he was jumped and assaulted by a group of around two dozen teens. A man accused of shooting his girlfriend in front of their newborn daughter last week has turned himself into police on Monday, 12/17. 32-year-old Tyrese Lynch surrendered to Philadelphia police around noon. A Philadelphia Police officer was injured Saturday night, 12/15, after being pinned against her patrol car by a suspect driving a stolen rental van. It happened around 7:30 p.m. at Sedgely and Ridge avenues in Strawberry Mansion. The officer and her partner stopped the U-haul truck and were investigating the possibility it was stolen.
