Temple University officials issued a warning to students, faculty, and staff on Thursday after several students on campus have tested positive for mumps. Student Health Services says that four students have the highly infectious disease. The mumps symptoms are similar to the flu and can include tender swollen glands below the ear and along the jawline. Symptoms appear 16-18 days after exposure. The Philadelphia Phillies have signed a record-breaking deal with free agent outfielder Bryce Harper. The deal is reportedly for 13 years, $330 million which tops the previous free agent record set by Manny Machado for 10 years, $300 million that he signed with the San Diego Padres last week. The deal is larger than the 13 year, $325 million contract extension signed by Giancarlo Stanton in 2015.
