Philadelphia Police are looking for the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted in the shooting death of a man in late July. The incident was caught on surveillance cameras in broad daylight. Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf will not be extending the moratorium on evictions and foreclosures that ends today, August 31. Wolf said last week that he did not have legal authority to extend his executive order and pushed the General Assembly to pass legislation. Temple University announced on Sunday, 8/30, that it will 'pause' in-person classes for two weeks after identifying 103 active coronavirus COVID-19 cases on campus. The school says that most of those cases are asymptomatic and a few have mild to moderate flu-like symptoms. They say that new cases seem to be attributed to small social gatherings off campus. A mural of the late Philadelphia Sgt. Robert Wilson III in Cobbs Creek was defaced with anti-police graffiti. The mural is located on the 6000 block of Baltimore Avenue. Vandals spray painted the mural with the acronyms "ACAB" and "FTP" as well as a "circle-A" anarchy symbol. Sgt. Two mothers were killed and a teen injured after a car lost control and struck them while walking on the sidewalk in West Philadelphia on Wednesday night, 8/26.
