Police have made an arrest in connection with the murder of a 78-year-old man in Southwest Philadelphia last week. The suspect, 18-year-old Quintis Clark, turned himself in to police late Monday. Police discovered Joseph Daly on his living room floor in a pool of blood on May 31st. The backdoor was unlocked and window broken. Daly's van was initially missing but recovered last Thursday. Philadelphia Police are looking for a man who threw a beer bottle at Phillies' first baseman Ryan Howard at the end of Saturday's game at Citizen's Bank Park. Howard was walking towards the dugout after grounding out to end the game when the fan threw an aluminum bottle. The bottle did not hit Howard, but did land near his feet. The Greatest of All Time has passed. Muhammad Ali has died at age 74 after a 32-year battle with Parkinson's disease. Ali was at a Phoenix-area hospital the past few days being treated for respiratory complications. Funeral services are being planned for his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.

A Montgomery County woman has been arrested for throwing coffee on and assaulting another woman outside of a Center City Starbucks back in April. 47-year-old Yvonne Montgomery, a lawyer from Wyncote, was caught on surveillance video back on April 25 at the Starbucks at 1600 Arch Street. Two people are dead in what is being called a murder-suicide on the campus of UCLA in Los Angeles on Wednesday. The shooting prompted a massive tactical response on the campus involving hundreds of officers from numerous agencies. The campus was put on lockdown as SWAT teams searched the school. Fire broke out during Memorial Day celebrations at an American Legion post in the city's Frankford section. It happened around 3 p.m. at American Legion Post 396 on the 2300 block of Orthodox Street. Smoke was seen coming from a dumbwaiter by the bar. A motor had ignited a tiny fire in the attic.
