A man who was shot and injured by a Philadelphia Police officer after he allegedly attacked the officer with a box cutter has been charged with attempted murder. 22-year-old Brian Anderson is also charged with aggravated and simple assault, possession of an instrument of crime, and recklessly endangering another person.

Philadelphia Police have issued an arrest warrant for the murder of a transgender woman for dead earlier this month. Authorities are looking for 36-year-old Akhenaton Jones. 27-year-old Dominique Rem'mie Fells was discovered on June 8 in the Schuylkill River near Bartram's Garden. Dozens of armed 'vigilantes' have been patrolling Marconi Plaza on South Broad Street in South Philadelphia since Saturday, June 13, 'protecting' the marble statue to Christopher Columbus that is placed there. A Woodlynne, Camden County, police officer has been charged with pepper spraying a group of juveniles who were sitting on a porch. 31-year-old Officer Ryan Dubiel is facing two counts of simple assault.
