Walla Fest returns this weekend and for the first time since its inception four years ago it will not be held at Norristown's Centre Theater. Creators Keba Robinson, Yesenia Bello, and Ant Bui decided to make the geographical move in the name of progress but the concept of the event and the overall vibe of the experience will remain the same. SEPTA has announced another lottery for transit passes for the weekend of the Papal Visit in September. This lottery will be for Special 3 Day passes on the Norristown High Speed Line and Routes 101 and 102 trolley lines. The $10 pass will be good for Saturday – Monday September 26-28th. You will choose one of 6 outlying stations. Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Ferman announced charges today against Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane. The charges come after a lengthly investigation by the Montgomery County District Attorney's office after a grand jury recommended charges against the state's top prosecutor back in January. A Willow Grove, Montgomery County man was found guilty in the 2013 murder of a South Jersey man who was responding to an ATV for sale ad on Craigslist in the West Oak Lane section of Philadelphia. 25-year-old Thomas Coffee was found guilty by jury in the June 2013 shooting death of 27-year-old Daniel Cook of Williamstown and was immediately sentenced to life without parole.
