A Philadelphia judge has blocked the firing of Bill Marimow as Editor-in-Chief of the Philadelphia Inquirer. The dispute settled in the courtroom by Judge Patricia McInerney made public the bitter brawl between wealthy newspaper co-owners George Norcross and Lewis Katz. A FedEx delivery truck was stolen this afternoon and led police on a chase through the streets of Philadelphia. It began at 1 pm near Ridge and Lehigh Avenues. The suspect ended up crashing the truck at 25th and Willard Streets in the city’s Nicetown section. The truck became wedged between a utility pole and a fence in the rear of a home. A State Trooper was shot in the arm in Wilmington, Delaware. The 44-year-old trooper has been taken to Christiana Hospital Trauma Center. He is listed in stable condition. Delaware State Police, Wilmington Police, and New Castle County Police are on scene. It happened at 4 p.m. in the area of North Market Street and West 24th Street. An area of 10 blocks has been shut down due to the investigation. The suspect remains at large. There is no information on how the shooting occurred.Read More |

Police have made an arrest in the the murder of a Malvern, PA man. The Chester County District Attorney's Office has identified the suspect as 24-year-old Merritt Dudas. They say he is a longtime friend and neighbor of the victim, 21-year-old Drew Ferguson. Ferguson was found shot dead in his apartment Monday, upstairs in his grandparent's garage on 222 Miner Street. Authorities believe it happened during a dispute over drugs. Dudas used a handgun belonging to his girlfriend's father.Read More |

The US Military OROS-3 mission is set to launch tonight from NASA's Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia between 7:30 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. EST. The Minotaur 1 rocket will be carrying a record 29 satellites into orbit.

Princeton University officials decided Monday that it will make a meningitis vaccine, that hasn't been approved in the U.S., available on campus to help stop the spread of the disease. Doses of the vaccine for type b meningococcal bacteria will be available in December and February for undergrads, graduates students living in dorms, and university employees with medical conditions that make them susceptible to meningitis. The White House released long awaited numbers in relation to the rollout of Obamacare through the glitchy Healthcare.gov website. Only 26,574 people have successfully signed up and enrolled in a healthcare plan through the site. That includes those who have and have not paid the first month premiums.
