The New Jersey state budget stalemate continues on Monday as the partial state government shutdown of non-essential services remains. That shutdown includes state parks, tourism offices, motor vehicle services, and more. Governor Chris Christie ordered the shutdown on Friday after lawmakers failed to approve a budget. West Goshen Police have arrested a Delaware County man wanted in the fatal road rage shooting of a recent Bayard Rustin High School graduate last week. 28-year-old David Desper from Trainer, PA, has been charged with first and third degree murder, possession of an instrument of crime, reckless endangering and other offenses. West Goshen Police have released new images of the pickup truck they believe was involved in a fatal road rage shooting earlier this week in Chester County. It happened on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in the southbound lane of Rt 100. near Rt. 202. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie signed a bill on Wednesday legalizing the sale of handheld sparklers and novelty items, just in time for the 4th of July holiday. Anyone 16 and older will now be able to legally purchase handheld and ground-based sparkers and well as novelty items such as party poppers and snappers. All other fireworks remain illegal in New Jersey including both aerial and explosive types. Those include rockets and firecrackers.

Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams has taken a plea deal in his corruption, bribery and fraud case and resigned as the city's top prosecutor. This come two weeks into his federal trial. Williams pled guilty one count of accepting a bribe from a local businessman. The other 28 counts of the indictment were dropped. On June 19th around 9:25 p.m., a cab driver with Get-A-Cab was dispatched to pick up a girl on the 100 block of Glendale Road. A two-month long drug bust operation in Chester County has led to charges against 46 street level dealers across the county. District Attorney Thomas Hogan announced the crackdown today. It was nicknamed "Operation Wildfire."
