The Pennsylvania House of Representatives has passed a bill to privatize state-run liquor sales for the second time in two years. The Republican-controlled house voted 114-to-87 on the liquor privatization measure. Existing state stores selling wine and liquor would close and licenses would be sold to private retailers (with beer distributors getting first shot) to sell wine, liquor, or both. A New Jersey bus aide has been charged with stealing bagged lunches and lunch money from preschoolers in January and February. 33-year-old Rosa Rios of Millville, NJ, was caught on surveillance video going through the backpacks of the 3-5 year-old students and taking lunches and money. She reportedly stole from 29 children. Authorities were reviewing the footage because the bus driver had reported $400 being stolen from her. Rios is being investigated for that theft. Firefly Music Festival announced today the addition of Paul McCartney to the 2015 lineup. It is Paul's first ever appearance in Delaware and the latest confirmed date of this year's Out There tour, following on the recent announcement of April 21 May 2 run through Japan and South Korea. Firefly Music Festival takes place June 18-21 at The Woodlands of Dover, Delaware.

An Amber Alert has been canceled after 3-year-old Elinor Trotta and her father were found safe in Spencer, Massachusetts Tuesday afternoon. The alert was issued Monday evening after 43-year-old Michael Trotta took his daughter from his ex-wife's home in the Schoolside Apartments in New Castle, Delaware. A tanker truck carrying over 8,000 gallons of gasoline turned over and exploded in Pennsauken, NJ this morning. It happened at 11:00 am on the off-ramp from Route 90 to Route 130 near the Betsy Ross Bridge. The truck driver was able to escape before the truck exploded into flames. The 53-year-old revealed in the summer of 2013 that he was battling brain cancer. An 8-inch water main broke shortly after 9 a.m. Saturday morning forcing residents of a dozen homes to leave their houses. It happened on the 3000 block of Tulip Street in Port Richmond. In addition, around 100 homes lost water service for hours. Several homes had to have their basements pumped out by the Philadelphia Water Department. Yesterday's fatal stabbing at a meat processing plant in Montgomery County apparently started as a relatively harmless prank earlier this week. On Tuesday, the victim, 25-year-old Danny Vazquez, tried to pull a chair out from under the suspect, 32-year-old Peter Jok Atem.
