A New Jersey mother has plead guilty to setting her newborn baby on fire and leaving it in the middle of the street. 23-year-old Hyphernkemberly Dorvilier of Pemberton Township doused her newborn daughter with accelerant and lit her on fire in January 2015. The baby died a few hours later after being flown to a Philadelphia hospital. Dorvilier plead guilty to aggravated manslaughter. Authorities say that she hid her pregnancy from her mother and sister. The Philadelphia Folksong Society has released the initial lineup for this year's 55th Annual Philadelphia Folk Festival. As always, the fest will be held on the Old Pool Farm, in Upper Salford Township near Schwenksville, PA, on August 18-21. Notable acts include Los Lobos, The Lone Bellow, Darlingside, Buckwheat Zydeco, Buffy Sainte-Marie. Tickets are on sale now at pfs.org.

Pop music legend, Prince, was found dead on Thursday morning at his Paisley Park estate in Chanhassen, MN, outside of Minneapolis. His publicist confirmed the death. The Superintendent of Schools in Robbinsville, Mercer County, NJ, was struck and killed this morning by a 17-year-old high school student on her way to school. Dr. Steven J. Mayer was out jogging with his dog at 6:15 a.m. on Robbinsville Edinburg Road when he was hit. The female is a student at Robbinsville High School and was going to school early for a field trip.
