One man has been charged and Philadelphia Police are looking for four other suspects in a brutal 5-on-1 attack at Geno's Steaks back in June. 24-year-old Alberto Lopez turned himself into police on September 14th. He was charged with aggravated assault, conspiracy, recklessly endangering another person and related offenses. He was released on 10% of $50,000 bail. The musicians of the Philadelphia Orchestra went on strike Friday night just as the 7pm Opening Night black-tie gala fundraiser concert was supposed to start. The members of the American Federation of Musicians Local 77, which includes 96 musicians and 2 librarians, voted to walk out. Workers at Bethlehem-based Just Born Quality Confections are going back to work. Some 400 workers have been striking since September 7th. The contract with the union expired on June 18th. A federal lawsuit was filed on Wednesday by Just Born claiming that the union violated a no-strike clause in a contract extension that was still in effect until Sept. 18. 1 person was killed and 108 were injured when a New Jersey Transit train crashed full force into the Hoboken station this morning. It happened at 8:45 a.m. when train #1614 struck the Hoboken Terminal building on track 5. The train went through the barriers and into the station building itself causing extensive structural damage. A 16-year-old boy was stabbed to death in Reading on Sunday night and police are trying to figure out who did it. Reading High School sophomore Christian Torres died on the 1100 block of Locust Street around 8:30 p.m. Supposedly a fight broke out because someone was wearing a clown mask. Recent reports of bizarre clown sightings have only confused the investigation. The Philadelphia Zoo has announced that the new baby gorilla is a girl and has launched an online poll for the public to vote on her name. The lowland gorilla was born last month, but since she was being held so closely by her mother, 21-year-old Honi, zoo staff could not determine her sex. The baby's father is 31-year-old Motuba. Officials in Wilmington, DE, have identified the two firefighters who were killed in the line of duty on Saturday. 41-year-old Lt. Christopher Leach of Ladder 2 and 51-year-old Senior Firefighter Jerry Fickes of Squad 4 both died while fighting the blaze. Four other firefighters were also injured, two critically. Authorities have cleared the victim's boyfriend in Thursday's early morning homicide of a Delaware County woman. Mark Epps was named as a person of interest and wanted for questioning yesterday after 32-year-old Natasha Gibson was found dead of a slash wound to the neck near a friend's house in Yeadon.
