Today, the Bucks County District Attorney said that the officers who tasered a teenage shoplifting suspect in Tullytown will not be charged with police misconduct. The incident happened last month at the local Walmart. The teen and an accomplice were in custody and handcuffed when the boy took off on foot. An 11-year-old boy has died after an ATV he was using to pull a sled was struck by a snow plow. The boy was not named, but was a 5th grader at Logan Elementary school in Gloucester County. It happened Tuesday at around 4:30pm. They were using the ATV to pull a sled around the snowy fields. At one point they pulled onto Oak Grove Road. Philadelphia Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the death of man who was shot over his headphones. 19-year-old Arkel Garcia has been charged with murder, robbery and related offenses. Garcia is alleged to have shot 21-year-old Christian Massey on Nov. 30 in the city's Wynnefield section after demanding but being denied Massey's expensive new pair of Beats by Dre headphones. Halladay sign a 1-day contract with the Toronto Bluejays to leave the game with the team he spent his first 12 big league seasons. Halladay made a lasting mark here in Philadelphia. Temple University announced this afternoon that it was shutting down seven of it's 24 intercollegiate athletic programs. This was the culmination of a seven-month-long analysis of the university's athletic department. They cited costs, inadequate facilities, and Title IX non-compliance as reasons for the cuts. Eighteen people were busted this morning in a pair of drugs raids in Collingdale, Delaware County. The raid dubbed “Operation My Block” focused on the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue that had become overrun by two rival drug gangs. Neighbor complained of the increasing violence, gun fire, and drug activity on their block. Seventeen were arrested for possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance. Nelson Mandela has passed away at age 95

Nelson Mandela, former South African president, has passed away at the age of 95. Mandela spent 27 years in prison for treason for opposing the apartheid government of the National Party. He was released in 1990 and continued his work as head of the African National Congress, eventually leading to the end of apartheid and his election as the first black president. A masked man with a sawed-off shotgun robbed a popular late-night establishment in Fishtown early Wednesday morning. The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. at the Loco Pez restaurant and bar on the 2400 block of E. Norris Street. The suspect forced two employees and two customers back into the bar after closing and demanded money. He made off with about $1000. He is described as a black male and was wearing a face mask, sunglasses, and a tan jacket. No one was injured.

A woman was caught stealing toys from a Toys for Tots donation bin in a Bucks County restaurant. It happened in a Wings-to-Go in Fairless Hills, PA. The entire incident was caught on surveillance tape. It shows the woman walking up the the bin located in the front of the shop, reaching in and then walking out.
