Bruce Springsteen has added a few more North American shows to his "Wrecking Ball" tour for this fall. This includes a September 2nd date at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia over Labor Day weekend.

He'll also be playing in Boston, Washington, DC, Chicago, and East Rutherford, NJ.

Police Arrest Northeast Philly Tire Slashing Suspect

Police in Northeast Philadelphia have arrested a suspect, David Toledo, who lives on Aldine Street in Mayfair. That is the same street that bore the brunt of the attacks. David also belongs to the Aldine/Teesdale block watch group that was setup after the rash of attacks began. Toledo himself reported acts of tire vandalism to his own car and his wife's vehicle to the police, and talked to several media outlets during coverage of the attacks about being terrorized by the slasher and not knowing... It seems like the wild animals have gotten spring fever. Upper Darby is on the lookout for a raccoon who bit a 15 year old girl on the leg. The victim was staying overnight at her boyfriend's parents' and woke to use the bathroom when the raccoon who had climbed in the house bit her on the leg and ran. The Beach Boys have just unveiled a clip of "That's Why God Made the Radio," the first single off their reunion album. The album of new material is due to hit shelves on June 5th. The group split up in the late 1990s and toured separately. Last year, they put any animosity off to the side and reunited for a tour. Fiona Apple will release her 4th album on June 19th on Epic. It's called "The Idler Wheel is wiser than the Driver of the Screw, and Whipping Cords will serve you more than Ropes will ever do." A man wanted for murder in New York was killed this morning when he jumped in front of a SEPTA train between Jenkintown and Noble stations. The suspect's truck was spotted speeding down Route 309 found abandoned at the Jenkintown Elementary School, triggering a lockdown of the school districts 600 students. A pair of officers stopped the man, Thomas W. Borden, 33, near Rodman Ave. and Old York Road in Abington. He broke away and ran through a yard, down an embankment and onto the commuter... Heavy rain is expected to continue across the entire Philadelphia region throughout Sunday and overnight with a total of 2 to 3 inches of rain. A Flood Watch is in effect for the area as well, mainstem river flooding is not expected, but you should prepare for minor flooding of prone areas. Record Store Day 2012 is now in the books and after now its 5th it's only getting stronger. It began early this morning outside independent record stores across the area with lines of music lovers waiting for stores to open so they could get their hands on the exclusive and limited releases pressed just for today. Of course every shop is independent so they can pick and choose which releases they are going to carry and decide how much stock they think they should carry. It either makes the game... Phillies have placed left hander Cliff Lee on the 15-day disabled lee with a strained left oblique. This comes just 3 days after Lee pitched 10 scoreless innings in a pitching duel against Matt Cain of the San Fransisco Giants. The Phillies ended up losing that game 1-0 in 11 innings.

Lyrids Meteor Shower is a Wash Out in Philadelphia

The annual Lyrid meteor shower is expected to peak overnight tonight with the best viewing just before dawn on Sunday. However, here in Philadelphia the forecast is calling for cloudy, rainy skies starting late Saturday afternoon and getting worse through Sunday. If it wasn't for the clouds, the sky would be perfect for viewing since the moon is in the "new" phase and the skies would be dark.
