There is a Winter Storm Watch for far southeastern Pennsylvania, northern and central Delaware, and much of central and southern New Jersey from Friday, 1/28, 7 p.m. to Saturday, 1/29, 7 p.m. The National Weather Service says that heavy snow is possible. The nephew of a woman found dead in Neshaminy State Park earlier this month has been arrested for her murder. 20-year-old Andrew Jennings is charged with murder, possessing instruments of crime, obstructing justice, abuse of corpse, and tampering with evidence in the death of his aunt, 50-year-old Lisa Jennings. The body of a teenager was found on Tuesday morning, 1/25, after he went missing over the weekend in New Jersey. A volunteer searcher found 19-year-old Irving Mayren-Guzman in a marshy area off Delilah Road in Pleasantville, Atlantic County. Philadelphia Police have identified the son of a police officer who was shot and killed in North Philadelphia early Monday morning, 1/24. 23-year-old Hyram Hill had just stepped out of his vehicle when he was shot nine times. It happened around 4:40 a.m. at Broad Street and Allegheny Avenue. Hill had just finished his job working as a bouncer. A Chester County man has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl for almost two years. 70-year-old George Berry of Downingtown is charged with 15 counts of rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, aggravated indecent assault of a child, and related offenses. A Good Samaritan and several New Castle County police officers helped save an elderly woman after she became stuck under her car last week. The incident was caught on police body cam. It happened on Wednesday afternoon, 1/19, on Fieldstone Lane. The 70-year-old woman forgot to put her car in park before stepping out of the vehicle. A woman was beaten to death with two pipes in an Old City office building on Wednesday afternoon, 1/19. It happened just after 2 p.m. in Suite 800 on the 8th floor of the Regus building on the 300 block of Chestnut Street. 48-year-old Jeffery Stepien from Philadelphia entered the office and attacked 31-year-old Samantha Maag of Blenheim, New Jersey, who was sitting at the receptionist desk.
