Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane announced today at a press conference in Scranton that she will not be seeking re-election, but will be serving out her current term. She said that she wants to spend more time with her two sons, ages 13 and 15. Kane did not mention the criminal charges she's facing for leaking grand jury information and lying about it. Ursinus College has cancelled classes for the rest of the week out of 'an abundance of caution' following the outbreak of a gastrointestinal illness that swept across campus. On Thursday the number of ill students, staff, and faculty rose to 153. It began Tuesday night and by Wednesday dozens were heading to the on-campus wellness center as well as local hospitals and urgent care centers. A vote on a resolution in the Pennsylvania Senate fell just a few votes short of the two-thirds majority needed to remove Attorney General Kathleen Kane by Senate Address. The vote was split 29-19 in favor of directing Governor Tom Wolf to take her out of office, which was about 4 votes short of passing. Video footage has surfaced that reportedly shows the early Sunday morning brawl at Recess Nightclub in Old City involving off-duty Philadelphia Police officers and NFL player LeSean McCoy and acquaintances. Mill, whose real name is Robert Williams, can only leave his house to do community service with organizations that serve adults, not youth.
