Philadelphia Police have identified the suspect who shot and killed a 15-year-old girl and injured a 19-year-old man outside of Einstein Hospital yesterday. They are looking for 19-year-old Darian Person of the 1900 block of Rowan Street. A large group of teens from Delaware Valley Charter High School gathered at the SEPTA Transportation Center at Broad and Olney for a scheduled fight Monday afternoon. Philadelphia Police have completed their investigation into the assault of a gay couple in Center City 1 ½ weeks ago by a large group of men and women. They have submitted their files over to the District Attorney's office today who will make the determination on any charges to be filed. The man hunt intensified this weekend for Eric Frein, the suspect in the ambush shooting of Pennsylvania State Police troopers last week. Authorities have been focusing their search efforts on wooded areas in Barrett and Price Townships in Monroe County near the suspect's home. A 13-year-old boy has been arrested and charged with raping an 8-year-old girl in Delaware. The boy from Harrington, Kent County surrendered himself to Harrington Police on Thursday accompanied by his guardian. His identity has not been released because he is a juvenile. Police were contacted on August 28th by the state's Division of Family Services about a sexual assault that occurred in a Harrington home. Philadelphia City Council approved a bill today 14-2 that will decriminalize possession of small amounts of marijuana. This bill was a compromise reached last week between Mayor Michael Nutter and councilman Jim Kenney, the bill's sponsor. Anyone caught with 30 grams (about an ounce) or less of pot would be issued a $25 fine and a "non-summary civil offense." They would have to make one appearance before a judge. The manhunt continues for the man that ambushed two Pennsylvania State Police troopers outside the Blooming Grove barracks last Friday in the Poconos. 31-year-old Eric Frein hid outside the barracks and fired upon the troopers with a rifle, killing Cpl. Bryon Dickson and injuring Trooper Alex Douglass. There is now a $40,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction for those responsible in the shooting death of a pregnant mother and the baby she was carrying in Frankford on Sunday. 25-year-old Megan Doto was hit by a stray bullet in the face while sitting outside on the 1500 block of Adams Avenue before noon on Sunday.
