Philadelphia Police have identified the suspect wanted in connection with the shooting death of one homeless shelter worker and the injuring of another worker early in the morning on Sunday. A man who had been evicted from a North Philadelphia homeless shelter returned on Sunday morning and opened fire, killing one employee and injuring another. It happened at 6 a.m. Sunday at the Station House Transitional Shelter on the 2600 block of North Broad Street. The man was evicted on Friday night because he was intoxicated. Philadelphia Police have released a sketch of a man wanted in the shooting and robbery of a 75-year-old woman on New Year's Eve morning in Northeast Philadelphia. It happened at 9:50 a.m. in an alleyway on the 7100 block of Montague Street. Prosecutors presented their case against 22-year-old DJ Creato in front of a judge at the Camden County Hall of Justice this afternoon. Creato is charged with the murder of his 3-year-old son Brendan back on October 13th. Brendan was discovered in the woods a few blocks from his father's home a few hours after being reported missing by his father in the early morning hours. The father of 3-year-old Brendan Creato who disappeared from his Haddon Township home early in the morning last fall only to be discovered dead a short distance away has been arrested for his murder. The suspect who ambushed and shot a Philadelphia police officer on Thursday night was arraigned in court on Saturday. 30-year-old Edward Archer of Yeadon was charged with eight charges including attempted murder, aggravated assault and assault of a law enforcement officer. 33-year-old Philadelphia Police officer Jesse Hartnett was shot 3 times in the left arm while sitting in his patrol car at 60th and Spruce Street in West Philadelphia around 11:30 p.m. Thursday night.
