The New Jersey State Medical Examiner has changed the manner of death of the former head of Cooper University Hospital from 'suicide' to 'undetermined.' 72-year-old John Sheridan and his wife, 69-year-old Joyce, were found dead inside their home after a fire in September 2014. They were both in the bedroom. It was initially ruled a murder-suicide. Joyce had suffered stab wounds. John had also suffered what were called 'self-inflicted wounds' but no weapon could be found. New signs went up in Rittenhouse Square Park telling visitors bluntly, 'No Sitting on Wall.' That wall would be the 3-foot high white stone 'balustrades' that criss cross the park. A Delaware County man is under arrest after stealing a SUV last weekend with a baby in the back seat. It happened around 5pm Saturday at the Shoppes At Sproul Plaza on South Sproul Road in Broomall. The 1-year-old girl's parents left the car running and unlocked at they went into a bakery and then into the Wawa at the other end of the plaza. A Dover, Delaware woman has been identified as one of the five people who were shot and killed last Friday at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Broward County officials released the names of the five fatal victims on Wednesday from the shooting on January 6th. 69-year-old Mary Louise Amzibel was originally from Ohio but moved to Delaware. A passing motorist shot a suspect who carjacked a SEPTA vehicle this morning in West Philadelphia. It all happened just before 11 am at 63rd and Woodbine in the Overbrook neighborhood. The 32-year-old suspect was speeding in his Dodge Charger and crashed into a car in the intersection. That car then hit two others. A Philadelphia school bus driver is facing charges for leaving a child on a running bus as he went in to a grocery store in West Philadelphia. 28-year-old Jamar Henry picked up the 7-year-old student from Cornerstone Christian Academy at 58th and Chester Streets on Monday afternoon. A man was seriously injured after a 50 lb dumbbell crashed through the windshield of his SUV as he was driving on the New Jersey Turnpike in Salem County on Monday morning. Charges have been filed against both the adoptive mother and her boyfriend in the case of a missing 14-year-old Abington girl found dismembered in Luzerne County last fall. Authorities described the entire gruesome incident as part of a rape-murder fantasy shared between the couple. 41-year-old Sara Packer and 44-year-old Patrick Sullivan have been charged with kidnapping, rape, murder, and related offenses.
