Two teens are under arrest after they assaulted two Montgomery County police officers who were trying to break up a large crowd of young people fighting in a restaurant parking lot. 18-year-old Hope Brouwer-Ancher and an unidentified juvenile male are both charged with aggravated assault on a police officer and related charges. Powerful storms and strong winds crossed the area as front blew through prompting unseasonal severe thunderstorm warnings and even tornado warnings. Many large trees were toppled with some unfortunately crashing down on cars and houses. There were also reports of roof damage, down wire, and power outages. A New Jersey high school basketball coach was assaulted on Tuesday night, 2/4, apparently by his own players. It happened around 9 p.m. outside Malcolm X. Shabazz High School in Newark, NJ. Philadelphia Police have a suspect in custody wanted for the rape of a woman in Love Park last month. It happened at 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 25th. The 41-year-old female victim had just gotten off of the El at 15th Street in Center City and was walking through the park. Following role call votes in the Senate on Wednesday, February 5th, President Donald Trump was found not guilty on both Articles of Impeachment brought by the House of Representatives. A two-thirds majority (67) is necessary to convict. The votes were essentially split down party lines, however, Republican Senator Mitt Romney (UT) broke rank and voted guilty on Article I. Philadelphia Police released surveillance video showing a group of people apparently armed with guns breaking into the Sturgis Recreation Center to film a video.
