A Philadelphia Eagles cheerleader earned his golden ticket to 'Hollywood' on American Idol on Sunday night, 2/23, by performing 'Mercy' by Shawn Mendes. 21-year-old Kyle Tanguay from Rochester, NH, is a senior dance major at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. The Phillie Phanatic made his debut at Spring Training at Spectrum Field in Clearwater, FL, on Sunday afternoon, 2/23, with a few changes to his appearance. He is slightly slimmer than before, which may actually make it easier to navigate the stands. He also has a new pair of sneakers and socks. His feathery eyebrows and tail have also been spruced up.
