Two Bucks County residents are facing theft and related charges for stealing 17 bronze plaques from graves in a Bensalem cemetery and selling them for scrap. Andrew Townsend and Danielle Holmberg were caught on video removing the markers at King David Cemetery. They then sold them for scrap metal for pennies on the dollar. They were worth around $7500. Police in Newark, DE are looking for two suspects who allegedly performed a 'lewd act' in public. It happened on Saturday afternoon in the rear parking lot of the Galleria Building on East Main Street. The contract between SEPTA and it's largest union is set to expire tonight at midnight. Despite the unlikelihood of a workers' strike from Transport Workers Union Local 234, SEPTA does have plans in place in case of service interruption. US Airways Flight 1702 heading towards Fort Lauderdale from Philadelphia International Airport barely got off the ground before the captain aborted. During takeoff going down the runway, the plane just lift off the ground and slammed back down. A tire burst in the front landing gear, and the plane came to rest on it's nose. All 149 passengers and 5 crew were evacuated safely. This happened at 6:30 pm. The plane is an Airbus A320. Emergency crews are on scene.

Philadelphia medical examiners confirm that the sudden death of a Drexel University sophomore was caused by bacterial meningitis. Stephanie Ross, a mechanical engineering student, was found unresponsive in her sorority house by her sisters on Monday and taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where she died. The sudden death of a Drexel University sophomore is believed to be a case of meningitis. The exact cause of mechanical engineering major Stephanie Ross' death is not known at this point, but Universiity officials are taking precautionary measures. The so called 'wedding crasher thief' has plead guilty to stealing cash and gifts from two different weddings last June. 35-year-old Joseph Patrick Franzone Jr. of Bridgeport plead guilty today in Montgomery County Court to theft and attempted theft charges.
