The country's oldest polar bear died on Friday at the Philadelphia Zoo. Klondike was 34-years-old. Zoo officials started noticing a serious decline in her health starting two weeks ago and she had difficulty standing and walking. Despite treatment she was not improving and they decided to euthanize her this morning. Klondike was born at the Bronx Zoo in 1980 and has lived at the Philadelphia Zoo since 1981. Police in Radnor Township have arrested a man accused of trying to lure three students outside an elementary school. It happened around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of West Wayne and Arbordale Avenues near Wayne Elementary School in Delaware County. Officials from Camden County and the Haddon Township Police say that there are no signs of forced entry into the home of 3-year-old Brendan Creato, the boy who was found dead after being reported missing last week. The homeless couple whose 2-year-old son was found wandering in LOVE Park on Friday night was in court this afternoon hoping to regain custody of their children. DHS took both their son and 4-year-old daughter after the incident. The family was forced to spend the night in the park after losing their home last week. A jury has found the demolition contractor, Griffin Campbell, guilty of 6 counts of involuntary manslaughter and 12 counts of reckless endangerment in the Center City building collapse that killed six people in June 2013 at 22nd and Market. A two-alarm fire broke out at Lulu Country Club in Glenside, Montgomery County Sunday morning. Fire crews were called around 6:30 a.m. to the 1600 block of Limekiln Pike near Jenkintown Road. A 2-year-old boy was found wandering alone and barefoot in LOVE Park in Center City overnight Friday night. A pedestrian saw the boy in the park and flagged down a SEPTA transit officer around 11:50 pm. He was taken to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for evaluation. Philadelphia Police pulled a body from the Delaware River Friday evening near Penn's Landing. It was discovered by two women walking near Christopher Columbus Boulevard and the Market Street ramp just before 7 pm. The Marine Unit recovered the body and took it back to Marine headquarters on Washington Avenue. Police say the body belongs to a black female ages 20-40 years old.
