The sun rose on the final day of Firefly 2015, much different than the pouring rain and lightening that cut Saturday night's festivities short. Steve Aoki and The Chainsmokers were rescheduled, but Kid Cudi and headliners King of Leon were not. It was hot, sunny, but with clear skies, and the grounds held up under the deluge, with only a few new mud pits to avoid. Aoki was scheduled early in the day on the Backyard Stage, a unique chance to catch him in the sunlight. The Chainsmokers closed out... Read More |

Saturday at Firefly Music Festival certainly had a wild, but not totally unexpected finish, thanks to Mother Nature and a remnant named Bill, but more on that later. There was plenty of other action on the seven stages to keep the grounds electric all day.
Andrew McMahon, formerly of Jack's Mannequin and Something Corporate, took the Main Stage first. He's been touring as Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness. You may recognize his single, "Cecilia and the Satellite" that's been out... Read More |

Firefly Music Festival is back in the Woodlands at Dover Downs in the middle of Delaware. This year they officially sold out of passes, that's roughly 90,000 attendees expected throughout the weekend. This year they also did not sell individual day passes, only the full 4-day variety. Music kicked off on Thursday night on a few stages, but Friday was the first full day of activity at the fest and it did not disappoint. The weather was dry in the sky and the clouds hid the sun enough to keep the... Read More |

Philadelphia's favorite big green furry bird from the Galapagos might not have much to cheer for this year, but the Phillie Phanatic still warms our hearts. He also has great taste in music and has some cool musical friends. Fellow Philadelphians, Dr. Dog, have written and recorded a new 'anthem' or 'theme song' for the Phanatic, simply called “The Phanatic Song.” It's a summery, upbeat jaunt featuring Dr. Dog's signature harmonies. The band and mascot also filmed a video for the... Read More |
