A report from the Philadelphia City Controller's Office released on Wednesday, 11/18, found that over 200 firearms had gone missing from the Philadelphia Sheriff's Office armory between 1977 and 2015. City Controller Rebecca Rhynhart said they received an initial complaint in the fall of 2019 of 15 missing rifles and shotguns. It happened on Tuesday, 11/10, around 1 a.m. The girl had left her home and was walking on the 3100 block of Frankford Avenue. She encountered a man at a Sunoco gas station. Philadelphia Heath Commissioner Dr. Tom Farley announced new restrictions on Monday, 11/16, called 'Safer at Home' aimed to fight this new wave of coronavirus COVID-19.
