The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced its inductees for the Class of 2014. This year's performer inductees are Philadelphia's own Hall and Oates, Nirvana, Cat Stevens, Kiss, Linda Ronstadt, and Peter Gabriel. The Award for Musical Excellence goes to The E Street Band. The Beatles manager Brian Epstein and The Rolling Stones manager Andrew Loog Oldgham will both receive the Ahmet Ertegun Award for non-performers.

72-year-old Kermit Gosnell has been sentenced today in a federal case for illegally distributing OxyContin and other painkillers from his West Philadelphia clinic. He pled guilty to the charges last July. Gosnell would write prescriptions and sell them to dealers and addicts inside his clinic, essentially running a “pill mill”. The Shops at Liberty Place played host to the annual Army-Navy Game pep rally. Hundreds of fans and servicemen from both academies crowded into shopping areas to root for their team. Cheerleaders and marching bands kept the excitement going. Today, the Bucks County District Attorney said that the officers who tasered a teenage shoplifting suspect in Tullytown will not be charged with police misconduct. The incident happened last month at the local Walmart. The teen and an accomplice were in custody and handcuffed when the boy took off on foot. An 11-year-old boy has died after an ATV he was using to pull a sled was struck by a snow plow. The boy was not named, but was a 5th grader at Logan Elementary school in Gloucester County. It happened Tuesday at around 4:30pm. They were using the ATV to pull a sled around the snowy fields. At one point they pulled onto Oak Grove Road. Philadelphia Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the death of man who was shot over his headphones. 19-year-old Arkel Garcia has been charged with murder, robbery and related offenses. Garcia is alleged to have shot 21-year-old Christian Massey on Nov. 30 in the city's Wynnefield section after demanding but being denied Massey's expensive new pair of Beats by Dre headphones.
