| Actor Wesley Snipes was released from Federal prison in Pennsylvania on Tuesday. Snipes was convicted in 2008 on tax charges. He entered the medium-security McKean federal prison in northwest PA back in December 2010 to serve a three-year sentence for failure to file income tax returns. He served 28 out of the 36 months on his sentence. Snipes belonged to a group that challenged the federal government's right to collect taxes. | Rutgers Athletic Director Tim Pernetti has resigned today. Pernetti has come under fire for his handling of Men's Basketball Head Coach Mike Rice and Rice's behavior toward the team. After the ESPN show, Outside the Lines featured video of Rutgers Men's Basketball coach, Mike Rice berating players during practices, the school has decided to fire him. | New Jersey Governor Christie has signed a bill on Monday that prohibits minors under the age of 14 from using spray tanning facilities and those under 17 from using tanning beds. The bill does say that those 17 and older can use commercial tanning beds if a parent or guardian is present for the initial consultation.
