A man died last night after suffering a heart attack at the Sheraton in Society Hill on Second and Walnut. The 57-year-old guest was found unconscious around 2:15 am outside of a wedding at the hotel and taken to Jefferson University Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 2:51 am. He was reported to be the uncle of the bride. That turn of events would be tragic enough. If only it were that simple. The discovery was made after a large scale brawl broke out at the end of this wedding in the... Read More

As many of us just enjoyed the nice day, or did some fall yard work, or maybe you were at the Paoli Blues Festival, there was one man who was taking on a grueling Iron-distance triathlon by himself in a solo race for charity. Eric Suro woke up early this morning in Allentown, PA. At about 6:15 am he hit the water and swam 2.4 miles. After a nice swim, he hopped on his bike and rode 112 miles down to Newark, DE where his parents live. Finally, came the 26.2 marathon run through White Clay Creek... Read More

The Phillies lost today 5-1 to the 2012 NL East Champion Washington Nationals. They finished the season with a completely unexciting 81-81 record. If you asked anyone at this point last year, when we finished the season off with a team record 102 wins and the best record in MLB, if this would be the scenario left to us this afternoon, most people would have thought it was a hearty joke (even those wishy washy bandwagon fans on the Beltway). It's hard to get extremely mad because it was written... Read More
