At 11:00 am local time, authorities responded to the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, CA for the reports of a shooting. Witnesses say that three heavily armed and vested shooters entered the building and opened fire. 14 people are dead and 17 injured were taken to area hospitals. A Philadelphia Police officer has been arrested and charged with assault after a domestic incident on Thanksgiving in Bensalem, Bucks County. 48-year-old Officer Joseph Sees was taken into custody last Thursday by Bensalem Police. Sees was off-duty at the time and got into an altercation with a female. She suffered facial injuries including a broken nose. A neighbor called police after hearing the fight. A mural was dedicated today that commemorates Pope Francis' visit to Philadelphia for the World Meeting of Families back in September. The work is titled The Sacred Now: Faith and Family in the 21st Century and was designed by City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program muralist Cesar Viveros. The mural was painted by more than 2,700 individuals from 100 different countries working on 153 different panels. Pope Francis himself contributed to the work and signed his name to one panel.... The Philadelphia Zoo has announced the names of its two new red panda cubs today. The cubs were born at the zoo on June 26th and debuted to the public in November. They asked the public's help in naming the cubs. The zoo received thousands of suggestions and then compiled a list open to a vote. A Pennsylvania State Trooper was shot and injured this morning during a shootout and chase on I-676 that ended in a fiery crash. It started when two troopers pulled over a vehicle for expired tags on I-76 westbound near University Ave around 10 am. The four male occupants were told to get out. Philadelphia Police are asking the public's help in identifying and locating a suspect who punched a cab driver in the face and fled without paying the fare. At 3:48 am on October 31st the 62-year-old taxi cab driver picked up a man and women dressed as the Incredibles at Front and Spring Garden and drove them to a 7-Eleven on the 5800 block of Ridge Avenue in Roxborough. Pennsylvania State Police say that the search for a missing college student from Montgomery County is now over. The body of 19-year-old Jacob Marberger, a Cheltenham native and Washington College student, was found Saturday in the picnic area of the Hawk Mountain Sanctuary in Albany Township, Berks County.
