Philadelphia City Councilman-at-large David Oh was stabbed in the back during an attempted robbery on Wednesday night. It happened around 9:45 p.m. on the 5800 block of Thomas Ave. in the Kingsessing neighborhood of Southwest Philadelphia. 57-year-old Oh was approached by a man as he exited his vehicle near his home. A teenager is custody after attempting to suffocate his 7-year-old sister early Wednesday morning. 18-year-old Simere Alfred is charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, and related offenses. Emergency crews responding to a possible chemical leak in Manayunk on Tuesday evening stubbled upon a potential secret drug laboratory. Tiger Woods was arrested early Monday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence in Jupiter, Florida. The 14-time major champion was pulled over and arrested at around 3 a.m. on Military Trail, south of Indian Creek Parkway. He was taken to Palm Beach County jail and booked for DUI. He was eventually released on his own recognizance. The 41-year-old Woods has not played in months and will miss the rest of the season while he recovers from back surgery.
