A woman who was attacked and seemingly abducted from a SEPTA bus in the early morning hours on Friday tells police that she is fine and that nothing happened. The incident happened around 2 a.m. along Roosevelt Boulevard in the city's Crescentville neighborhood. A man in an early '00s silver Pontiac with Delaware temporary tags XC975492 was following the bus. Twenty-nine-year-old Kyle Crosby was sentenced Thursday to 31 years behind bars in the New Year's Eve 2014 killing of his wife Erica Crippen. The Mount Laurel man pled guilty in December to aggravated manslaughter and hindering apprehension in the death of his 26-year-old wife. Crosby choked Crippen to death and hid her body in a rural part of Maryland. Investigators used GPS in his car to located her body. Tuesday was a violent night in Philadelphia. Police are investigating the deaths of six people in six separate incidents. These occurred in Southwest Philadelphia, North Philadelphia, West Philadelphia, Strawberry Mansion, Grays Ferry, and East Falls. One of those killed has been identified as 21-year-old Demetrius Pinckney. It happened on the 2300 block of Morris Street in Grays Ferry. A Bucks County police officer was shocked and injured during a narcotics investigation at the Doylestown SEPTA station on Tuesday afternoon. The Morrisville officer was part of a county drug task force investigating a suspect who was allegedly transporting heroin on the train from Philadelphia to Doylestown. Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf signed an executive order today that raises the minimum wage for some state workers to $10.15, up from $7.25 an hour. The pay raise will effect around 450 state government employees and state contracted workers. The Democrat used his executive power to bypass the GOP-controlled Legislature. Raising the wage above the federal minimum for all workers in Pennsylvania will require legislation and cooperation between the Governor and the Legislature.

Philadelphia Police have arrested two people in connection with the murder of a transgender woman last month in Frankford. On February 20th just before midnight, 25-year-old Maya Young was found with multiple stab wounds on the 4800 block of Penn Street. She was taken to Aria Health Frankford where she was pronounced dead. Police have arrested 24-year-old Tiffany Floyd and 19-year-old Jose Pena. They have both been charged with Murder and Conspiracy.
